hi and welcome to my blog

We all have dreams and some embrace them more than others... what would the world be like if this were not the case?
I am going to share my vision for a future... where the next generation actually gets paid for driving down the road.
Now it might only be a penny a mile so lets not get too excited ( really alot more in savings when you dont need to pay for gas or power)...but once the buckypaper roads pay for themselves ...the profits should go to the people.
life is transitory its about doing someting that we have never done before.
lets look at some reality from dreams...YouTube - Innowattech breakthrough in alternative energy from road traffic"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." –Richard Buckminster Fuller

Build the new

The idea to build new things has been the theme on this blog
And as new things develop offshoots can develop unexpectedly (insert new economic model where people can be paid for every mile they drive after the roads pay for themselves via electrical production)
The horizon here is nanotechnology and energy converting weight to power
Converging in as many ways as makes sense.
While I took a break from blogging this emerging technology is slowly gaining ground
And other nanotechnology are proving out ... a new band aid that can heal wounds faster creating power with nanotechnology battery layering.

phase out

volvo has made a big move in the industry lets hope the others quickly follow suit
Tesla way out in front with the gigafactory   the end of oil may be on the horizon as emerging replacements such as solar are on an exponential curve.

England's plan for wireless charging lanes

Imagine driving along and your electric car needs a charge what to do
This is one key component to perpetual motion freeways
Or as close as we can get to it.
The plan To test it  will cost  Nearly 800 million over 5 years.
Just for the charging system...to take this to the next level I suggest a road upgrade that rolls out like wallpaper and actually creates power from cars driving over it. Nanotechnology  is the key for this two layers of buckeypaper filled with piezo electric crystals or nano fibers .
Every time a vehicle travels on the upgraded road system power is created just from the weight of the car or truck.
A simple you tube to breaks it down.

My letter to the President of The United States Of America

Letter to the President

Dear President Obama Lets start building roads that create electricity.
Step 1 Hold a contest.
Step 2 get funding for the research
Step 3 The winner has a road upgrade that gets the highest return on investment per mile.
In other words challenge the best and brightest to upgrade the roads
To make enough power to charge battery's.
Cheers David m Lande

MIT Improves solar panels by 30%

until this week not much has grabbed my attention in the world of free energy John Searl has been on several radio shows and Jason Verbelli has been working with his group here in Southern Cailifonia posting some new videos on you tube . then there is Rossi delivering his first cold fussion power unit this month . Rossi plans for mass production  with robot Assembly lines going for max output. bloom box has been a great benifit to wealthy internet companys ...but so far no home units for the common man . now MIT is here to save the day with this striking anouncement . sounds like the claims of Ray Kurzweil are  comming true again this time regarding the expontial growth of solar panels .

After my visit to Searl's Laboratory I feel Energized.

The latest prototype generator is designed by Engineer-Fernando Morris of Searl Magnetics. Inc. is now under construction and it is based on John Searl’s Searl Effect Generator (SEG).

It’s slated to be 1 meter in diameter and about 10cm in height, at this scale it would produce enough power for an average home with about 15kW.

In addition to this are various other effects that occur  in its proximity, the most advantageous one in our modern age is its ability to absorb/neutralize radioactivity. Although further testing will not be possible until this new prototype is built.  This effect is very important right now and not just in Japan but any place we store and create radioactive waste materials.

The next two effects would be very desirable for hospitals and laboratories; it effectively kills bacteria and knocks down airborne particles to the ground. That is a great one-two punch benefiting both burned victims and asthma patients.

The closer one looks into this idea the more superior it compares to any other form of energy generation. Only one side effect that is good and bad, depending on the climate, is that the temperature drops about 5 degrees around its air environment.

One possible problem has to do with the availability and cost of neodymium, but the increasing market demand has encouraged exploration and mining of element in the USA and abroad beside just China’s dominance of it. This puts a cost crimp in any plan to use this concept in roads that create power much the same way mag-lev trains were originally conceived. However Fernando has not ruled out the possibility that it could be used in such a way.

This latest prototype is expected to be up and running by the end of 2012. The icing on the cake, so to speak, is that no fuel is needed and it is a solid state device that process electrons for it kinetic energy with an energy cycle that is open system. Furthermore, it never wears out as the moving parts float on magnetic bearings, so no friction, no noise, no fuel costs and no air pollution.  also pesn and natural news have great articles about this .

The case for Energy Harvesting Roads

First off it should be recognized that driving as we do it today, has zero reclaimed energy.
Energy harvesting road systems could easily follow a  technological curve similar to computers and genetic mapping .
That is to say it could double in energy production every 2 years or so.

Israel has taken the idea and produced road rail and sidewalk  energy harvesting systems. http://www.kurzweilai.net/innowattech-harvests-mechanical-energy-from-roadways
Other concepts can be integrated for safety.
even systems that could prevent road kill .
also it should be noted there is more than one way to make roads that harvest energy. starting with thin film solar and piezoelectric to  mechanical systems such as Road Power Generation.
Jerry Brown had a chance this week to sign a bill to foster these advancements but sadly he veto'd it.
This little video touches on our current Energy state.

piezoelectric Improvements

This is Great news for free energy  claiming 100x better piezoelectric's in the size of a quarter. not to bad an improvement  from 2008 designs. were getting there once we can start punching out bricks on 3 d  printers we can start rebuilding roads with solar/piezoelectric road surfacing   that can pay for itself  much sooner than previous designs. and this trend can really gain steam as we have plenty of roads that can be resurfaced  lowering costs and further reducing paid for dates ...im predicting  road cost zero out  after 10 years ...and roads that will generate income after that.

This could be Tesla's dream made real. Video
Just getting free energy out of thin air.
Smartscarecrow is running a great justintv channel  and blog.
Replicating elements could really be happening Sterling Allen breaks down a
new way of harvesting gold.
and the concept of self powered tiny robots that can self replicate just got a little closer to reality.

multi material 3D printing

This is a big step toward the ulility fog(nano tech allowing you to build anything).
not to mention faster better cheaper.
solar at 90% efficiency  is hard to believe.
also mainstream is waking up to the idea of ambient energy !

Tiny steps today giant steps tommorrow

Just got pulse from android  apps on my phone ...not a tiny step in the  infotainment arena.
one thing leads to another and I found techcrunch . Today they posted on my favorite topic Power to The People .
they also have a great story on a way to use the Ocean to store Energy .
This all lead me to ask is there a wave energy based blog ?
Answer yes  Wave Power.
also something new on the road power concept .
unlock the giant yet tiny concept of utility fog  on everything  and our roads will be self paving our cars self building (drive a lotus one day and a hummer the next ) once we get to this level of tech we could really explore the stars !

The Elephant in the room ...across the Planet

Nuke Power ... and gulf oil. two ugly elephants. one solution that's been proposed out of the box by Michael Tellinger is that oil can be extracted from water with soundwaves .
I suggest that in fact sound waves could be the key to protecting ourselves from radiation .
Does the Planet itself create soundwaves and if so can we tap into them them for energy?
Michael has also suggested that the pyramids may have harvested energy in this way and transmitted it through a specific type of stone. if all this is for real the roads im dreaming of could be made from this stone and we could transmit power through the roads system .
so figuring out how the pyramids collected power might not be so tough either the latest story at pure energy systems its quite on track with this.

hidden costs of power

Here in San Diego our power monopoly thinks the wired transmition of power will be the future or should i say they are banking on this same old J.P. Morgan scam to charge people for something that could be free. and make our nation wealthy overnight. free of the albatross when we as a country nationalize oil and use the profits to pay for renewables and exploring exotic energy that is not transmitted over long distance but able to put in ones garage and simply power the home.
